Established in 2022, Institute of Contemporary Art New York (ICA New York) is a pioneering artist-led organization dedicated to the publishing and advancement of artists' books. Through innovative programming, ICA New York fosters a unique and critical dialogue between the creation of artists' books and contemporary art practices, with a focus on artistic positions that defy easy categorisation.
This dialogue creates a dynamic platform that bridges the gap between exhibition-making and publishing, that allows for multifaceted presentations by contemporary international artists, and rethinks what a contemporary art institution can be today, offering a fresh perspective within the contemporary art landscape.
